Overview

Explore Florence's cultural artistic history while getting lost in two of the world's most prestigious art museums' collections on a guided experience with a knowledgeable local Florence guide.

Elena adds, "It can be overwhelming to see so many different works of art in one day, but with a guide to provide information and context, you will have a deeper understanding of the different collections and how they fit into Renaissance Italy and beyond." Your guide will lead you through the Uffizi Gallery and present you with some of the world's greatest masterpieces created by famous artists, including Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Botticelli, Caravaggio and Titian.

You will then proceed to the Accademia Gallery and walk through its seven halls while viewing its paintings, frescoes and altars in the Hall of the Colossus.

The most important part of the tour is the Tribune, which is home to Michelangelo's incredible sculpture of David, which Michelangelo created from a single piece of marble when he was just 26 years old and is the most famous sculpture in the Accademia gallery.
